DREAMCATCHERS
Dreamcatchers are handmade round objects with webbing that are hung in
the windows of Native Americans to as protection. Originally they had
been hung in children's rooms to prevent nightmares and the legend has
it that the dreamcatcher would catch the bad dreams so the child would
not have them. Today, Dreamcatchers as a sort of sign of Indian unity
and have been adopted by most American Indian tribes. They have become
popular among non-native americans. Here is an extensive selection of
